COPING WITH TRAUMA

A DOCUMENTARY FILM

What happens at the intersection of Faith and Trauma?

Written and directed by Angela Terrell, Women of Faith: Coping with Trauma takes an in-depth look into the lives of four women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, but who also triumphantly find love, joy, hope, and peace through their faith in God and their community. If we don't address our childhood trauma, it can negatively impact how we relate to our spouses, our children, and our co-workers later in life. If left unresolved, it shapes whom we become.

Our film will help you become victorious over your trauma, whether you are just beginning your journey and don't know where to start; are seeking God, but still do not have the answers you need; or are mature in Christ seeking to help others find their strength. "Be the change you want to see in the world."

That has been the premise for her endeavors. Over the last 20 years, she has honed her ability to effectively present to the public the driving mission, operations and policy of an organization. With stints in newsrooms at CBS News, Public Broadcasting Service, and emergency management FEMA and the SBA, Angela is coming home to matter of the heart. God called Angela to produce this film, while providing a safe space women to learn, heal and grow.
