WOMEN OF FAITH COPING WITH TRAUMA
(Trailer Only)
ABOUT THE FILM
What happens at the intersection of Faith and Trauma?
This documentary film takes an in-depth look into the lives of four women who are survivors of childhood sexual abuse, but who also triumphantly find love, joy, hope and peace through their faith in God and their community. If we don't address our childhood trauma, it can negatively impact how we relate to our spouses, our children and our co-workers later in life. If left unresolved, it shapes whom we become.
Abuse of any kind saps your sense of power, your sense of worth, your sense of value. You have to fight to get those treasures back. You have to fight to find out who you really are. It is very easy to allow the trauma to define you, but from a faith perspective we find out who we truly are - a child of the highest King and we are deeply loved.

WOMEN OF FAITH
Telling their stories to change lives.

We acknowledge the various women who courageously told their stories and shared their experiences to make this documentary a success. We feature four of the women in the documentary, while we also acknowledge those whose journeys ended earlier than we may have imagined.

ABOUT THE FILMMAKER
A story teller at heart.
Producer, Director, and Visionary — Angela Terrell — believes you should be the change you want to see in the world. The trauma she experienced as a young girl, inspired the creation of this documentary, giving other women a voice to speak out, not only about their trauma, but the healing process to continue living a life ordained by God.
